She is driven to help maintain Seminole County's reputation as an exemplary school system while advocating for the well-being and success of students. Stephanie’s deep commitment to educational excellence, combined with her leadership experience, makes her a strong advocate for shaping the future of the district.

Family Legacy

Raised in a military family with both parents serving in the Air Force, Stephanie was profoundly influenced by her father’s work as a high school Varsity basketball coach along the Space Coast for over 40 years. His emphasis on both athletic and academic achievement taught her the value of nurturing well-rounded individuals. As a student-athlete herself, Stephanie saw firsthand the importance of instilling discipline, teamwork, and a sense of community engagement beyond the court.

Educational Background

Stephanie’s academic journey began in Brevard County, where she graduated from Rockledge High School. She continued her education at the University of Central Florida, earning a bachelor's degree in Health Science. Her love for learning did not stop there—she pursued a Master’s in Public Health and is currently working toward a doctoral degree in Public Health from Walden University. This educational foundation fuels her belief in the power of learning to transform lives, which drives her commitment to improving the school system.

Community Engagement

With over a decade of experience as a community health professional, Stephanie has dedicated herself to improving health outcomes for Central Florida residents. Through education, and partnerships with local nonprofits, she has led numerous community health improvement initiatives. Her passion for learning has also included teaching yoga and art classes, where she fosters a love for learning and self-expression in others. Stephanie’s holistic approach to education—emphasizing both physical and mental wellness—aligns closely with her desire to see every student thrive in Seminole County.

Curriculum & Teaching Experience

Stephanie’s dedication to education extends beyond health initiatives. She spent three years at the Orlando Science Center, where she developed science curricula and taught hands-on labs to children and families. Her passion for learning inspired her to teach health and wellness through AdventHealth’s "Mission FIT: Possible" program, which reached schools across Orange, Osceola, and Seminole counties. Stephanie’s focus on integrating health and education helps her bring a unique perspective to the school board, advocating for programs that support students academically, physically, and emotionally.

Stephanie’s varied experience in education, health, and community engagement makes her a well-rounded candidate, ready to tackle the challenges faced by today’s school systems. She is committed to ensuring that every student has the tools and support they need to succeed academically and personally, reinforcing her belief that education has the power to shape brighter futures.
